Checklist for VMware High Availability environment setup

To setup the VMware Cluster in High Availability environment all the checkpoint answers should be Yes then only your VMware cluster will work in High Availability mode.

7	For ESXi :VMKernal network host must be earlier than version 4.0.	Yes / No
8	For ESXi :VMKernel network with the Management Network checkbox must be enabled for ESXi hosts version 4.0 and later.	Yes / No
9	Do all the hosts have access to the common virtual machine network and data store?	Yes / No
10	Are all the existing VMs located on shared, not local storage?	Yes / No
11	Is VMware tools installed on all the VMs?	Yes / No
